How Do You Make Biscuits?
That simple question started Hot N Fluffy two years ago.
It took a year to create the food and concept. Another year to find & build the right place... all while running Stafford's best bakery People ask, what makes our biscuits special? Since we started, people have loved them. Check out the review titled "“Delicious cupcakes and biscuits”
At Hot N Fluffy we always:
- Make biscuits by hand
- Use Lily Flour
- Use our thumbs to create a dimple (Thanks Alton.. that's not our recipe... but the dimple works..)
- Make them a bit tangy... just a bit...
- Buttermilk, lots of buttermilk
- oh and just melted butter on top always helps
Another key that's hard to replicate at home is the ovens. Home ovens make a decent biscuit, but not good enough. We have two ovens running all day and most of the night to get them out every 15 minutes.
